I sit on a HAG Capisco 8106, manufactured in 2001 – clearly a quality product. I used to have constant back pain on other chairs, especially in the lumbar region. Since I've been sitting on the 8106, that pain has disappeared. Why do I like sitting on it so much? Because I can sit on it in so many different ways (and I do). The chair can be used in the conventional way, but also upside down (straddling it), with the backrest becoming a practical armrest. This has become my favorite position, especially during long calls. You can even sit sideways, which looks less elegant, more like a relaxed afternoon in the café on the corner, but it works.
Thanks to its saddle-like shape (probably where the name “saddle chair” comes from), it automatically forces my back into a healthy S-shaped posture.
